Throughout her career, Laura has focused on working with youth and their families, recognizing the power of supporting and uplifting the younger generation. Her dedication extends to championing the rights and well-being of women who have experienced the profound trauma of sexual violence. Through her tireless efforts, Laura strives to provide a path toward healing and recovery for those affected.
Beyond her pivotal role at ICARUS, Laura Williams is also a Managing Partner in the Global Alliance for Women’s Safety & Equality, where she shapes policies and practices that protect the rights and dignity of women around the world. With recent and current contracts in the Republic of Georgia, Haiti, Bahamas, Philippines, Greece, and the State of North Dakota, Laura uses her Full-Color lens to inform her work in the complex adaptive systems needed to support survivors of sexual assault.
Laura's qualifications are underpinned by her master's degree in Public and Non-profit Leadership and Management, which has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to navigate complex challenges gracefully and efficiently. Her unwavering dedication to understanding the dynamics of human systems has led her to become an Associate in Human Systems Dynamics, fueling her deep interest in exploring how individuals can work and thrive together amidst complexity.
